Private Holding Company
Building and backing enduring businesses.
Kin Holdings operates essential-services companies and invests in the technologies defining the next economy.
About
Kin Holdings takes a long-term view. We own and operate businesses that keep the built world running, and we hold positions in the companies building what comes next. The work our companies do will always need people; the technology we back is changing nearly everything else. We're invested in both sides of that future. Patient capital, operating discipline, and permanent ownership — no fund cycles, no forced exits.
We operate what AI can't replace. We back what AI will become.

Founder
Kevin Hsu
Founder
Kevin grew up on Guam in a family of operators. His family immigrated from Taiwan and built businesses on the island — a go-kart track, a wholesale and retail jewelry business, a rental car company — and watching them run things for the long haul is where Kin Holdings really began.
He moved to the mainland to study commerce at the University of Virginia's McIntire School, then spent his early career in restructuring and M&A at Perella Weinberg Partners, working on engagements including the restructuring of Caesars. As the first associate hire at Brightstar Capital Partners he invested across the industrials and services economy, serving as chief of staff at portfolio company Global Resale, and later executed private equity and growth investments for the Bronfman family office — where patient, generational capital became his default way of thinking about ownership.
In 2021 he acquired Able, and in 2023 Blue Chip, forming the operating foundation of Kin Holdings — businesses meant to be operated for generations, and a way to build durable opportunity for families and immigrant entrepreneurs like the ones who raised him.
